Damon Galgut and Christos Tsiolkas present new novels, each set in widely different periods and political contexts but joined in their common exploration of the nature of friendship, sexuality and the act of literary creation itself. Hosted by Micheline Maylor.
Barracuda is Christos Tsiolkas’ fifth novel and builds on themes from previous books including The Slap, which became an international bestseller, igniting debate over its depiction of the sexual and racial politics of Australia.
In Arctic Summer, Damon Galgut who offers a fictionalised account of how EM Forster came to write A Passage to India, while battling to overcome the paralysing shame he felt at being gay.
