Four-Day Morning Workshops

– June 9th through 12th

Writers Adventure Camp at The Point Artist-Run Centre on beautiful Alta Lake is a unique immersive experience for emerging writers. You will attend workshops with award-winning professionals in your chosen genre while cross-fertilizing your creative output with exposure to other genres and artistic disciplines. Our faculty all work in dual or multiple genres.
The program is intended to be both rigorous and fun – think Writers Boot Camp meets West Coast Arts Festival – and is unlike other creative-writing retreats across the country due to its setting and multi-disciplinary emphasis.
Each morning is spent in small groups in your genre workshop (fiction, non-fiction or screenwriting), while each afternoon you’ll have the opportunity to attend a different hands-on workshop led by one of our guest faculty, as well as hang out on the dock, canoe on the lake out front, and hike or bike the many trails in the area.
