Kevin Sylvester is an award-winning writer, illustrator and broadcaster. His recent work includes Neil Flambé and the Bard’s Banquet, the fifth book in the The Neil Flambé Capers mystery series, which celebrity chef Gordan Ramsey called “good fun.” He is also the author of Baseballogy, a collection of the most unusual baseball facts you’ll ever find, including such diverse topics as the materials used to make the balls, freak injuries and the chances of making it to the big leagues. He lives in Toronto, Ontario.

At Wordfest 2015, Sylvester presents MiNRS, a gritty action-adventure novel in space, underground, and out of time. A 12-year-old boy and his friends must find a way to survive in a mining tunnels after their new space colony is attacked.
