Patti is a catalyst, community organizer, and business leader in Calgary’s creative economy. Her passion is product justice and she draws upon her eclectic professional career in broadcasting, design, cultural marketing, start-up ventures, and music industry management to build rich and engaging experiences. She is a university professor; the founder of a product research and engineering firm developing new industrial products for women; and with Indigenous Elders, supports a number of Truth and Reconciliation creative projects including Otahpiaaki: Indigenous Beauty, Fashion & Design (September 17-23rd 2017) and explorations of Indigenous land-based story, the multiple ways they are told ‘by hand’ and their emerging impacts on Nation identities.
