Hugh Brewster

Hugh Brewster (ON, Canada) is a writer, editor and publishing executive who has been involved in the publishing industry for over 30 years. Brewster’s first children’s book, titled Anastasia’s Album: The Last Tsar’s Youngest Daughter Tells Her Own Story, won a number of awards. After working for Scholastic, and then Madison Press Books, Brewster began to pursue writing full-time in 2005. His children’s books follow the same historical theme as his first one, and include At Vimy Ridge, of which won the Norma Fleck Award, as well as Dieppe: Canada’s Darkest Day of WWII and On Juno Beach: Canada’s D-Day Heroes.
