Lisa Robertson
Lisa Robertson (CAN/FRA) was born in Toronto, lived in Vancouver for many years and has held residencies and visiting positions at Cambridge University, Princeton University, UC Berkeley, the American University of Paris and the California College of the Arts. Her book Lisa Robertson’s Magenta Soul Whip was named one of the New York Times 100 Notable Books of 2010 and was long-listed for the 2011 Warwick Prize. Her other books include Debbie: An Epic, The Men and The Weather and Occasional Work and Seven Walks from the Office for Soft Architecture. At Wordfest, the poet presents her most recent collection of poems, The Cinema of the Present.
