Ted Bishop
Ted Bishop (AB, Canada) is a professor of English literature and film studies at the University of Alberta. His first book, Riding with Rilke, was a Canadian bestseller and was short-listed for the Governor General’s Literary Award for non-fiction. “The Hawkman of Kandahar”, his travel essay, won a Prairie Fire award for non-fiction. Bishop has received a CBC Literary Award for travel, and two nominations for National Magazine Awards for his motorcycle essays.
