Caroline Adderson
Caroline Adderson (BC, Canada) is both a children’s and adult author. She was the recipient of the 2006 Marion Engel Award, given annually to an outstanding female writer in her mid-career. Adderson has won two Ethel Wilson Fiction Prizes and three CBC Literary Awards, and was nominated for both the Scotiabank Giller Prize, as well as the Governor General’s Literary Award. At Wordfest, the author presents Jasper John Dooley: NOT in Love, as well as Ellen in Pieces, her latest novel for adults based on the life of Ellen McGinty, an impulsive single mother. Adderson currently resides in Vancouver with her husband and son. (Fiction, Ages 7-10)
