Jonathan Auxier
Jonathan Auxier (CAN/USA) is a children’s author whose debut novel, Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes, won the Diamond Willow Award, and was short-listed for the inaugural Monica Hughes Award. The novel was also an ABA New Voices Pick, and was one of BookPage magazine’s Best Book of 2011. The Night Gardener, the much-anticipated follow up to Auxier’s debut novel, is about orphaned Irish siblings Molly and Kip, who work as servants in a creepy, English manor house, and are forever changed by secrets the house holds. The book is written in the style of Washington Irving and Edgar Allan Poe. Auxier currently resides in Pittsburgh. (Fiction / Fantasy, Ages 9-14)
