A poet, academic, and public intellectual, Billy-Ray Belcourt’s many achievements include both a Rhodes scholarship and being the youngest winner ever of the Griffin Poetry Prize for his debut book, This Wound is a World: Poems. (He was 23.) Come listen to Belcourt discuss his newest book, NDN Coping Mechanisms: Notes From the Field, which employs poetry, poetics, prose, and textual art to illuminate the rogue possibilities bubbling up everywhere NDNs are.
