Book Club Extravaganza

Why is Wordfest’s monthly We’ve Read This Book Club so darn addictive? It’s wise, witty, and wine-y. And there’s a bonus gift: every year, we bring the actual authors whose new books we’ve devoured and dissected to the festival for a Happy Hour chat. Don’t fret if you haven’t yet read Aria by Nazanine Hozar (our August 21 pick) or Amy Jones’s Every Little Piece of Me (up on Sept. 11) – as with every Wordfest event, you do not have to read the book first. Nor do you need to be a regular. We’re always eager to entice new members, so think of this event as your gateway drug to Calgary’s most welcoming book club.
