Graphic Novels Showcase

We all know that Canadians excel at short fiction and sketch comedy — you can now add the graphic novel to our genre boasting rights. All the ammo you’ll need will be on display at this animated showcase. It features Sarah Leavitt, whose memoir, Tangles: A Story About My Mother, Alzheimer’s, and Me, was the first graphic work to be recognized by the Writers’ Trust Non-Fiction Prize, YA series Indigenous authors David A. Robertson and Tasha Spillett, and Calgary’s one-woman force field, Vivek Shraya.
