This year’s special author lunch is being reinvented as a showcase of Canada’s top Indigenous chef and his new cookbook, tawâw: Progressive Indigenous Cuisine, a gorgeous collaboration with noted B.C. food writer Jennifer Cockrall-King. The award-winning team at Charbar will be creating a unique three-course meal (which comes with your choice of beverage) that celebrates Chartrand’s culinary journey, embracing his ingredients, techniques, and influences.
