Top cybernetic scientists rebuilt her, using bionic parts to make her exceptionally strong and fast, with super-heightened senses. Jaimie Sommers was now the Six Million Dollar Woman, a high-school teacher who worked undercover as a secret agent for the Office of Scientific Intelligence.
Seizing the opportunity to create Wordfest’s first writers conference, we couldn’t think of a better (or more unexpected) role model. The Bionic Women Writers Experience is the weekend getaway we all deserve to rebuild ourselves stronger, faster and with ’70s hair.

With the conference pass, you can get exclusive access to not one, but two 90-minute workshops on Saturday, focused on your choices of fiction, non-fiction, poetry and memoir. Dick Lit’s Trivia Night
We’ve brought back the world’s most engaging trivia competition for a special Bionic Women Edition, hosted by Canada’s most delightful literary Dick, Richard Kelly Kemick. You don’t have to memorize anything in advance, but our four Bionic authors from the Saturday sessions will will be on-hand throughout the evening to help kick your answers into the fourth dimension.
