About Marika Styba

Marika Styba has owned and operated Peaseblossoms Flowers in the Beltline since 2006 and lives nearby in a 1912 Heritage home with her Husband, three children, two dogs, a cat, and a Holland Lop-Eared Rabbit. A co-worker encouraged her to apply for a job in flowers and in turned out to be in her blood. After graduating from the University of Calgary with a degree in Art History and English Lit, she ended up at Peaseblossoms as Girl Friday for six years before buying the shop, which over the years has been a champion for literary and arts-based institutions, a community contribution she holds dear.
