Hosted by Julie Van Rosendaal
Memorial Park Library, 2nd Floor
1221 2 St SW
Don’t miss this rare gathering of beloved national kitchen icons. Representing the east, Toronto’s beloved Bonnie Stern, founder of the Bonnie Stern School of Cooking, author of 12 bestselling cookbooks, host of three national cooking shows, and instructor at the James Beard Foundation. In her new cookbook, Don’t Worry, Just Cook (written with her daughter Anna Rupert, who joins her on stage in Calgary), Stern shares 125 recipes that will make every tentative home cook feel like they've got THE expert cooking right beside them, offering stories, lessons and decades of kitchen wisdom. And representing the west, Calgary’s beloved Julie Van Rosendaal, also the author of a dozen cookbooks, who is determined to create an inclusive, healthy, sustainable #YYC community through generous, undeterred activism.
This 75-minute conversation includes an audience Q&A – all cooking queries welcome!
