Curt Robinson
Curt Robinson is the lead whisky specialist at Kensington Wine Market, Calgary’s longest-serving whisky specialty shop and two-time runner up for ‘world whisky retailer.’ For nearly a decade and a half, he has specialized in high-end whisky, curated hundreds of events, led distillery tours through Scotland, and written for the spirits industry. Before moving to Calgary in 2001, Curt studied sociology at UFV in Abbotsford while managing coffee shops and bartending to make ends meet. He has also put in time at various trades, worked in the oil fields of Alberta, and spent far too long in the corporate Calgary oilsands office scene before finally making the move to full time in the world of whisky. Curt writes horror fiction in his spare time. Sadie, Darker Things, and Rotten Soil are available now, with a couple more projects in the wings.
