The pub date for your book has been announced—now what? These creative writers will share how they’ve marketed themselves and their books. Jenny Heijun Wills’ Instagram account features her adorable Doberman puppy “reading” an advance copy of Everything and Nothing at All. Coming from the world of game design, debut author Holly Gramazio (Husbands) knows a thing or two about playfulness. The duo will share an informal & question-led conversation about activating reader engagement.
Anne Logan has been working in the non-profit sector for more than 15 years as a festival programmer, fundraiser, and book reviewer. She regularly reviews books on her website ivereadthis.com, and is the books columnist for CBC radio and television here in Calgary. Her writing has been published in Alberta Views, Quill and Quire, Write, and WestWord Magazine. She has previously sat on the board of directors of Calgary Reads and the Writers’ Guild of Alberta as Past President, and is currently a board member of Calgary Arts Development. She is currently the senior development officer at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area.
