Peter Wohlleben
Peter Wohlleben spent more than 20 years working for the forestry commission in Germany before leaving to put his ideas of ecology into practice. He now runs an environmentally friendly woodland in Hümmel, Germany, where he is working for the return of ancient, sustainably managed forests. Wohlleben and his family run an organic self-sustaining farm. He holds lectures and seminars and has written a number of books on woodlands and nature conservancy. The Hidden Life of Trees is his first book to be published in English. Peter Wohlleben’s appearance is made possible by the Goethe-Institut and the glasswaters foundation.
