Anna Dewdney

Anna Dewdney (USA) has had a lot of jobs over the years, including teacher, waitress, daycare provider and mail carrier. Through it all she has drawn pictures and written, and is now the established children’s author of the Llama Llama series, a popular picture book series about a young llama and his adventures. At Wordfest, Dewdney presents the newest book in this series, Llama Llama Trick or Treat, as well as Nelly Gnu and Daddy Too, a fun-to-read rhyming book about a father and daughter’s wonderful day together. In her spare time, Dewdney likes to spend time in the woods with her dogs in Vermont, which is where she currently resides.
