Kenneth Oppel to appear in 20th anniversary Festival

(Calgary, AB – Wednesday, May 20, 2015) Wordfest is delighted to announce that Governor General Literary Award winner Kenneth Oppel will be returning to the Festival for its 20th anniversary celebrations.

Oppel has been riveting YA readers for years with works including Airborn, The Boundless, Such Wicked Intent, The Dark Endeavour and The Silverwing Trilogy, which sold over a million copies worldwide. In September, his new novel The Nest will be released and is expected to once again connect with the imagination and hearts of his readers. Kenneth Oppel looks forward to showcasing The Nest with students throughout Calgary during the Festival in theatres and in schools.
