Alison Gray (Director)

Alison Gray is honoured to be a part of Wordfest and has been a member of the Wordfest Board since 2009. She is a Partner at Bennett Jones LLP. Alison Gray’s practice focuses on energy, fraud, tax, and commercial litigation, particularly litigation involving the oil and gas industry, shareholder disputes, and fraud recovery. Alison also practices public law, particularly constitutional and Aboriginal law, providing advice on issues relating to division of powers, Charter rights, the duty to consult, Aboriginal title and rights, and access to land. Alison regularly appears before all levels of courts in Alberta, and has appeared in courts in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario.
