Alice Kuipers
Alice Kuipers is the award-winning, bestselling author of four previous novels (including Life on the Refrigerator Door, which was longlisted for the UK’s Carnegie Medal), and two picture books. Her work has been published in 29 countries. Born and raised in London, England, she went on a journey at 18 that included stops in Cambodia, the United States, Vietnam, Australia, and the Cook Islands. Kuipers now lives in Saskatoon with her partner, the writer Yann Martel, and their four young children.
