Erina Harris
Erina Harris (Calgary, AB, Canada) is a Canadian poet published in North America, Britain and Europe (and in translation). She is the recipient of multiple international writers’ residencies, grants, awards (Norma Epstein Award placement, This Magazine Great Literary Hunt Award winner, ARC Editor’s Choice Poem) and nominations (Best Canadian Poetry short-listing, Bronwen Wallace Award short-listing, Ralph Gustavson Award short-listing, nominations for Air Canada Award). A graduate and Fellow of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, she resides in Calgary where she is at work on her doctoral dissertation, a feminist adaptation of the myth of Persephone with a focus on nonsense verse, rhyme, and ecopoetics.
