Patrick deWitt
Patrick deWitt is the author of French Exit (a national bestseller long-listed for The Scotiabank Giller Prize). His 2001 novel The Sisters Brothers (a New York Times bestseller) was short-listed for The Booker Prize and The Scotiabank Giller Prize, and won the Governor General’s Award for Fiction, the Atwood Gibson Writers’ Trust Fiction Prize, and the Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour. Other novels include the critically acclaimed Undermajordomo Minor and Ablutions. Born on Vancouver Island, deWitt now resides in Portland, Oregon.
