Staff Picks from Donna-Lynn

Wordfest 2014 might be Donna-Lynn’s first year on staff as the Volunteer Manager at the Festival, but for years she has contributed to Wordfest’s success as a dedicated volunteer team-lead.

Her specialty is known in theatre jargon as “Front of House” management. So it’s not surprising that creating a memorable experience for audiences before, during and after a Wordfest event is always on her mind when working with volunteers.

My top pick is Literary Death Match. It’s an event filled with beer and the bizarre. Hilarity is sure to ensue. Next would be Women in Clothes. It’s a chance for women to come together to explore common ground in an open, caring and uplifting environment.
