“Cartoonists are writers who ‘write’ with pictures,” says Scott Chantler. Bring your favourite writing and drawing instruments to this workshop, and learn more about the theory behind visual storytelling.
Chantler was a pioneer in the webcomics scene before publishing his first graphic novel, Days Like This, with writer J. Torres. The novel was nominated by the American Library Association as one of its “Best Books for Teens” in 2004. At Wordfest, he presents Pirates of Silver Coast.
