Jacqueline Baker

RB-03360Jacqueline Baker (BC, Canada) is the author of A Hard Witching and Other Stories, which won the Danuta Gleed Literary Award, and was a finalist for the Rogers Writers’ Trust Fiction Prize. In the past, she has taught at the Banff Centre for the Arts, and has been the writer-in-residence at Grant MacEwan College. At Wordfest, Baker presents her most recent novel, The Broken Hours, which is set in 1936, and follows a horror writer, H.P. Lovecraft, and his new personal assistant, Arthor Crandle, and the unnerving, deeply creepy world which surrounds them. Baker currently resides in Edmonton.
