Jennifer Kingsley

Jennifer Kingsley (ON, Canada) has worked as a guide, naturalist, and conservationist for over a decade. She has paddled remote rivers in Nunavut, watched polar bears in Greenland, tracked grizzlies in coastal rainforests and sailed multiple oceans. Kingsley has a degree in biology and has won multiple awards for her work in communications and educational theatre. Her writing has been published in magazines, journals and newspapers, and her radio stories have been featured nationally and internationally. At Wordfest, Kingsley presents Paddlenorth: Adventure, Resilience, and Renewal in the Arctic Wild, a memoir about her 50-day canoe trip she took with five friends across the Back River of Nunavut.
