Richard Wagamese

Wagamese Medicine WalkRichard Wagamese (BC, Canada) is one of Canada’s foremost authors and journalists. He has written nine novels, one collection of poetry and three memoirs. One of his most recent novels, Indian Horse, was a national bestseller and the People’s Choice finalist in the 2013 Canada Reads competition. Wagamese has also been honored with the 2012 National Aboriginal Achievement Award for media and communications and the Molson Prize for the Arts in 2013. At Wordfest, he presents the national bestseller Medicine Walk, a novel about love and forgiveness which explores the complicated relationship between a father and his son. The author currently resides in Kamloops, British Columbia.
