“Growing up my parents filled our home with books and I continue to do the same in my own home.  Many of the books on this list are about being Black in Canada and of the lived experience of Black people in the Caribbean, a reflection of my Jamaican roots. Some are serious, some are comedic, some are soapy drama, some are poetry, and there are even a few plays. Enjoy!”
