Fifteen Dogs
An utterly convincing and moving look at the beauty and perils of consciousness, Fifteen Dogs begins with a bet between the gods. Hermes and Apollo’s argument leads them to grant human consciousness and language to a group of dogs overnighting at a Toronto veterinary clinic.
André Alexis nominated for a 2015 Toronto Book Award.
