Festival artists on Scotiabank Giller Prize Shortlist

October 6, 2014 (Toronto, ON) Wordfest congratulates Sean Michaels, Miriam Toews, Padma Viswanathan and Heather O'Neill for making the shortlist for the 2014 Scotiabank Giller Prize. Be sure to catch these writers and over 80 others at the 19th annual Wordfest, October 14-19!

S-Michaels-50Sean Michaels presents Us Conductors, a novel inspired by the life of the Russian scientist, inventor and spy Lev Termen, and presented in a finely woven series of flashbacks and correspondences, taking the reader from the glamorous New York in the 1930s to the gulags and scientific camps of the Soviet Union.
