Thomas Keenan

Technocreep_CoverThomas Keenen (Calgary, AB, Canada) is a fellow of the Canadian Defence and Foreign Affairs Institute, and a frequent contributor to the CBC, and writer of a men’s health column for the Postmedia newspaper chain. At the University of Calgary, he is a professor of environmental design and adjunct professor of computer science. In 1976, Keenan taught Canada’s first computer security course. He participated in the 1983 Department of Justice consultation that led to Canada’s first computer crime law, and has served as an expert witness in several court cases.
