A sampling of the best Canadian fiction of 2019. We’ve got Lynn Coady and Anakana Schofield, two of our most provocative and experimental literary practitioners. They’ll be joined by acclaimed short story writer and screenwriter Anar Ali, whose debut novel Night of Power has already sparked rave reviews from David Chariandy, Lawrence Hill, and Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi. Taking the final seat on the stage is the always engaging Michael Crummey, who just published the electrifying The Innocents.
