Perfect for early-rising Wordfesters and devoted CBCers! Daybreak Alberta will be broadcasting live from the Imaginairium on Sunday morning at 7:45 AM, with host Paul Karchut interviewing authors from the 30th anniversary festival. You’ll hear from Elamin Abdelmahmoud, Cherie Dimaline, Paul Myers, and David A. Robertson. And Wordfest Creative Ringleader Shelley Youngblut will spill the tea (or a very strong coffee!) on Day Six of Imaginairium.
Doors open at 7:30 AM, admission is free, and you’ll able to buy festival books at the Memorial Park pop-up store and get them signed by the featured writers. There will giveaways (including Wordfest totes and CBC merch) and you can stay and be first to claim seats for the 10 AM show: Revolutions of Revolutions with New York Times war correspondent Scott Anderson (ticket required).
