Movie Titles Inspired by Close to Hugh
Confusing the word “you” with “Hugh” in movie titles
Marina Endicott’s just-launched novel Close to Hugh mixes humor with the very real and emotional experience of youth, age, mortality and family. Her protagonist, Hugh Argylle, has quite a nasty fall from a ladder, and his quick trip down turns into a journey for all of those around him. Hugh does have one small problem, he’s a touch hard of hearing and will often confuse the word “you” with “Hugh”. Here’s our take on Hugh hearing some movie titles for the first time.
We have the privilege of welcoming Marina Endicott on June 1 for readings and a conversation with Guy Vanderhaeghe and Fred Stenson. For more information about the event or to buy tickets visit the event page on our website here.
