A Celebration of Calvin & Hobbes

No comic strip has been celebrated quite as much as Calvin and Hobbes. Our second annual free family fun day on Thanksgiving Monday features indoor and outdoor activities for the whole family, including Calvinball, Transmogrifiers, and Snow Goons. There will be a drawing workshop by Michael Grills and story time with Michael Hingston for small kids, followed by a more grown-up discussion of Hingston’s Let’s Go Exploring and a performance by the Heebee-jeebees.

NOTE: Due to limited capacity, you will need to pre-register for the talks and concert upstairs and bring either a print out of your complimentary ticket or show the ticket on your phone. No need to pre-register for the events outside or on the main floor of Memorial Park. 

• 10:15am: Draw Your Imaginary Friend Workshop with Michael Grills (kids)
• 11:30am: Story Time with Michael Hingston (kids)
• 1pm: Musical performance by the Heebee-jeebees (kids)
• 1:20pm: Let’s Go Exploring with Michael Hingston (kids of all ages)
• 1:50pm: Musical performance by the Heebee-jeebees (kids of all ages)
