Gwen Aube is a working-class writer living in Montreal. Her work has appeared in The Gay & Lesbian Review, The New Orleans Review, Contemporary Verse 2, Expat Press, Maisonneuve, and Room Magazine. Her chapbook Pulp Necrosis was published by rabove/ground press.
Aube is a 2026 Al Purdy A-Frame Artist-In-Residence and was the 2025 Artist-in-Residence with the Ontario Heritage Council. She was a finalist for the PEN Canada New Voices award, as well as a Kevin Killian scholarship recipient for the Jack Kerouac School Summer Writing Program.
