Chelsea Rule is Wordfest’s Director of Community Engagement & Special Sauce. That’s right. Her job is to add a little something unique, engaging, surprising or delightful to your audience experience. She also works to foster and develop relationships with local and publishing partners and Wordfest volunteers in the effort to create a true community feel at shows and across operations. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature and has more than 18 years of experience in Marketing & Special Events in the corporate and performance arts spaces. When she’s not ordering 300 mini cups of ice cream for the next show, she can be found reading contemporary romance, listening to true crime podcasts, bloomscrolling 414 dog Instagram accounts, and coordinating literal special sauce toppings for her four-year-old daughter.
