Cousins Vinh Nguyen and Andrew Phung spent their formative years in Calgary, though admittedly weren’t close. Nguyen became a writer and educator, Phung a comedian, but they’ve reconnected as adults, with Nguyen now acting as a cultural consultant on Phung’s CBC comedy Run the Burbs. They’ll dig into Nguyen’s moving memoir The Migrant Rain Falls in Reverse, the Vietnamese diaspora, and lost and found family.
